I want to try a MM build out and since I only have access to Prophecies and EoTN I was wondering if Ebon Battle Standard of Honor would work as a replacement for OoU. Also how large will the ward be? So far I got AotL, Animated BoneFiend, BotM, EBSoH, Infuse conditon, FoulFeast, Mark of Pain and Dark Bond. What other skills would you guys think I could use that would work for my build? Would Death Nova work?

Death nova would be a nono.Fiends are too high level (and costly) to even consider making them partial bombs(unless you plan on letting them be clump nuked) as are Bone horror's.Ebsoh would be a good OoU replacement but naturally,although you can't do it the two are best paired.

Other than that I rarely play so don't know what the flavour of the month for MM builds would be,Especially Eotn and Prophecies only..

Barbs is also a good replacement for OoU.

You have Dark Bond and Mark of Pain, so you are already better than many MMs. Yes, EBoH will affect minions. The only downside is you have to put yourself into the fray in order to put it up in the right place.

I don't like running Death Nova on a human bar, simply because targeting your own minions is pretty difficult, whereas a hero MM is 99% of the time going to be better at it. Your efforts would be better used in other ways.

Barbs is a good skill when you want to pummel individual targets. Perhaps a prot skill or two, or perhaps spirits (since they can now be essentially insta-casted). If you have the extra slot, a hard rez is never a bad thing. Since you only listed one pve skill, I will throw in there the Vanguard Assassin, or Pain Inverter, or even the EBoW to make Aura come around faster.

Whats EBoW? I noticed that barbs and Mark of pain are curses, so how would i distribute my attributes?

EDIT: Oops, yeah, Wisdom, not Honor.

EBoW probably refers to Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom. This is fitting with the context of it's occurance in his post.

Thanks, also how effective would minions be toward the later parts of the game where monsters are 20+? Will it still be worth it to use minions or will they be dieing to fast to even me worth using?

Minions will still work fine as bodyblockers,you don't really want lvl 20+ foes running around your backline.
